I was also forgot to update this thing. So heres the low down....

First I'm pregnant, I'm due June 11th which is my birthday, nice huh :). Second I've been knitting a pinwheel sweater since the begining of the month, I have one more sleeve and I'm done. If this sweater was for me, I would have put it down awhile ago. All that purling on the body almost killed me. Third we are going to Japan on Dec 31st to visit my dad(he lives there with my stepmom, the sweater is from her). hopefully the plane ride won't go to badly with our son, he'll be 3 by than. When we get back Brodie(our son) will start preschool early. He goes to one now once a week for 2 hrs.

We have been so broke for the past few months. The rent is due by Oct 5, but the check has to be mailed by the 2nd and we don't even have half of it. We just paid $170 to the cable people because my dh gets pay pre view Ufc fights, I tell we don't have the money but he doesn't listen. My FIL has given us so much money it's not enough funny. We never go anywhere because we never have any money. I stay at home with my son, and my dh works with StageHands, he gets paid well but the companies have been taking forever to pay. I've been so drepressed lately because of all this. I'm trying to promote my etsy shop but theres only so much I can do online, I can't afford to buy business or color ink to print them out.I really want my etsy shop to work out, I love dying yarn and we could use the extra money that I could make from it. I want to get Moo cards because they are awesome. I'm tried of life sucking, its been like this for months, for awhile I was telling myself that it would get better but its not.

The socks are Socktopia Msytery pattern for the month of August. I'm using yarn dyed by me. I dyed this yarn 3 times, to get something i liked. The Mary Jane booties I used yarn leftover from my Hederas. And the hank of yarn will become Jaywalkers as soon as I get my order from KP. I'm going to try them toe up.

So here is the sock I'm knitting for my dad, its a very late Father's day gift. I knit the heel and turned it last night. I'm trying to get these done fast. I got the pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. This book is so awesome, I want to marry it. And the yarn is KP's Memories.

I have finished these socks. I enjoyed knitting them but who won't. I used KP's Palette yarn in Hyacinth. I used lost than two skeins of it. I started on July 4th and finished on the 18th.

I've been knitting a sweater and its pretty boring so I have been doing a few little projects. Here are two of them . A pair of baby socks and some fingerless gloves. I used KP's Memories left over from my monkey socks for the baby socks . I used some yarn that I dyed for the gloves. I used icing dye for the brown and kool aid for the red.

Two baby sweater I knit last month. The top is from One Skein and I used Wool-Ease. The bottom one is from Mason-Dixons book and I used Sugar 'n Cream yarn. My favorite is the bottom. I don't have a baby for these sweater hopefully by the end of summer we'll have one on the way!

I finished this bag awhile back but never got posted it on here. I love it so much I use it everyday. I used yarn that i hand dyed and my own pattern. But I didn't write down the pattern, duh! I think its still on Craftster somewhere. The handle took so long, I knited 9 i cords on US 9's. Now say that 5 times fast! :)

They are DONE!!! I've been working on these socks forever. Well not really about 3 wks. I used KP Memories yarn. These are the second pair of socks for me. I really enjoyed knitted them. Now I have figure out what socks to knit next. Probably another one of Cookie A.'s patterns. She is awesome!!

Alex’s Felted Tote Bag Pattern

5 skeins of KnitPicks Wool of the Andes
1 Hollyberry
1 Blue Bonnet
1 Avocado
1 Rain
1 Cherry Blossom

US 10 1/2 circular 32 inch needles( I used KP’s options)
US 11 needles
yarn needle

Prefelt measurements:
Bottom: 15 in x 9 in
Body: 12 in x 21 in

Post felt measurements:
Bottom: 14 in x 8 in
Body:9 in x 21 in

Cast on 60 sts.
Knit 50 rows, 10 of each color.
Knit one row w HB yarn, pick up sts around all sides, you will pick up 110 sts. Total of 170 sts.
Knit 10 rows of each color. ( Total of 50 rows)
bind off.

Straps(make 2) US 11 needles
Cast on 6 sts with one stand of HB and CB held 2tog
knit 30 rows
Change to two stains of Avocado held 2tog
knit 30 rows.
Change to one of BB and Rain held 2tog
knit 30 rows
bind off

Weave in all ends, sew straps to bag.
Felt( I hand felted mine but you can use a washing machine, just make sure to check the bag every few mins.)

Block, use a box that fit inside the bag. If you use a box shorter than the side of the bag, make sure you use something to lift it off the ground. Let dry for about 24 hours. Now your bag is ready for use!

This are my very first pair of socks. I am hooked on knitting socks now! I used Lion Brand magic strips yarn and the pattern on the label of the yarn. I orderd more sock yarn today from knit Picks! I'm going to try the Jaywalkers pattern next. I can't wait until my yarn get here!

I knitted this awhile back, but haven't gotten around to posting it until now. I actually knitted two of them, but I never took a picture of the red one. Both bags were knitted with kool-aid dyed yarn, that i dyed myself. I messed up on the handles a little but they still look pretty good. Both of the bags are gifts.

This is my Sophie bag before felting, I used one skein of my koolaid dyed yarn and US 10 1/2 needles. I love making bags like these, they are so fast to knit. This bag only took me a day and half to knit.

Doll Ponchos

I knitted those two doll ponchos in about one day, I had some problems with the first one but after getting help from some awesome people at Knittinghelp.com, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. These are my first projects on double points. I used Sugar n' Cream yarn on US 9's. I used some ribbon i had on the pink and some extra beads on the blue. I also knitted some non matching doll hats too but i'm too lazy to take pictures of them.

I finally got the picture to up load to here! Yeah! This is just another booga bag that I made for myself. Used knit picks yarn again. I've been knitting like crazy, I finish two American Girl doll hats and I have started on the throw blanket from hell. I've been putting off making a throw blanket for my boyfriend but I finally gave in and started it. It's red and black, his favorite colors.

I finished this last week but didn't get a picture of it until today. I used Knit Picks yarn again for this one. I've been a knitting fool. I started on a throw blanket for my boyfriend, I've made two American Girl Doll hats and i've started a poncho for dolls. I knitted the hats in one day! I'm going to knit more for Chirstmas gifts. I want to add beads to some of the hats but I can't find any i like.

Booga bag

This is my first felted project. I love felting! I used Knit Picks Wools of the Andes in violet and blueberry. I love knit picks yarn. I need to order more. Anyway, i used about 3 skeins to make this bag. I used the leftovers to knit a hat. I've already started on a second bag in red and black for me. This one is for my brother-in-laws girlfriend. I finished this bag in about 3 days.

It's done!!!!! I finally finished my boobholder this morning. I wanted the sleeves more puffy but I couldn't put in the last decrease in the sleeves, they were too small I when I had them in. I've very happy with it. I plan on making another one but maybe make one as a whole sweater. This was a great first sweater. It took me a little longer than it should have but I had to rip out some rows here and there.

Update on Boobholder

So I thought that I had finished my boobholder Freddy sweater, but when tryed it on it was too small. So I ripped it out until row 21, I think I'm to knit 10 more rows like it and than it should fit. After I finally finish the boobholder, I going to start a Booga bag and Glampyre's One Skein Wonder.

So this is my very first sweater. It's not done yet. I just got passed where you start K5, m1, purl, m1, k5. I should be finished with the knitting part of it in a day or two. I'm using Kick Picks Wools of the Andes in Chocolate and Cranberry. I love this yarn!! It's so easy to knit with.

The pattern has given me a few problems. Like I didn't realize that the arm stitches stay on the holders, once I figured that out I love this pattern even more now!

I know my picture here is crappy but I just wanted to get a quick picture before I finished it. I'll post a picture when it's all done.

Welcome to my knitting blog. I've been knittng for almost a year now. My Grandmother knit but she is very sick now and couldn't teach me how to knit.
